Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Fernside. Guests are welcome to explore the property until 3:00 pm and are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds.
Guided Garden Walk 11:00 AM
Take a walk with one of our knowledgeable gardeners, learning about the history and botany of Fernside.
Picnic & Roam
Guests have until 3pm to enjoy the gardens. You are welcome to bring a picnic.
How to Visit
Gates Open
Arrive from 10:45 am. The guided garden walk starts at 11:00 am sharp.
Garden Walk
Take a walk with one of our head gardeners through the historic estate.
Leisure Time
Relax until 3:00 pm. Perfect for a picnic on the lawn.
Book Your Visit
Secure your preferred day and time in advance. Garden access is exclusive and limited to ensure tranquility.
Please note: For health and safety reasons, children under 12 years of age are not permitted on the property.
The gardens are open for visits 7 days a week throughout the summer.
The gardens are closed for visits on 20–22 November 2026 and from 25 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. Visits resume Monday 4 January.
